Most people thinking Turin is only a location for industry
and car production. Indeed, Fiat is the biggest company
for car production in Turin. But Turin was never a city of industry.
Most people don't know it; Turin is the "greenest" city of
Italy, with lots of parcs and trees. Italy's biggest river "the PO" is flowing through the city.
And the tourists can discover 227 pedestrian zones.
From the top of the monument Mole Antonelliana you can see the alps at the horizont with snow on the top. The historical old town "the quadrilatero" offers many palaces and "piazzas" with marvellous restaurants and famous historical cafes.
Just behind the citygate "Porta Palazzo" you will find the biggest open air market in Europe for fruits and vegetables.
