Cappadocia is a historical region in Central Anatolia.
The center of this area is the small city of Göreme. In a short distance around this city
you can find many marvellous locations. In the past it was the area for many greek christians.
So today there are a lot of ancient church ruins in the rocks.
The area is a high plateau over 1000 m in altitude that is pierced by many volcanic peaks.
The easiest way to visit cappadocia is with an airplane via Kayseri or Nevsehir airport.
